At Grace Bible Church Oshkosh, we are committed to preaching the gospel of grace and teaching the Word of God as revealed in Scripture. Our church operates under a structured governance guided by biblical principles and a clear doctrinal foundation.
Our Core Beliefs
Our Core Beliefs
- The Bible – We believe in the inerrancy and authority of the Old and New Testaments.
- Salvation – We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from works.
- God’s Plan – We uphold a Mid-Acts Dispensational understanding of Scripture, recognizing the distinct role of the Church, the Body of Christ.
- Jesus Christ – Fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified, and risen to redeem us.
- The Future – We believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church and Christ’s future reign in His millennial kingdom.
- Sanctity of Life & Marriage – Life begins at conception, and marriage is a God-ordained union between one man and one woman.
- Church Membership - Membership is open to believers who affirm our doctrinal statement and are committed to supporting the church through prayer, service, and giving. Members have voting rights and play an active role in church decisions.
- Leadership & Governance - Grace Bible Church is led by a Board of Elders, who oversee spiritual and administrative matters. Our Senior Pastor provides biblical teaching and pastoral care, working alongside the Elders and other ministry leaders.
- Meetings & Decisions – Regular membership meetings ensure transparency, with major decisions requiring member approval.
- Financial Stewardship – We manage church resources responsibly, ensuring designated funds are used appropriately.
- Amendments & Governance – Changes to our bylaws require congregational approval, while doctrinal changes demand a high level of agreement from leadership and members.
- Commitment to Biblical Truth - We believe all Scripture must be interpreted in light of Christ’s revelations to the Apostle Paul. Our mission is to faithfully proclaim the gospel of grace and equip believers for spiritual growth and service.
